Druga smjena Županijskog interventnog tima Društva Crvenog križa Koprivničko-križevačke županije nalazi se u Slavonskom Brodu, u Tranzitnom centru gdje su potpora aktivnostima Hrvatskog Crvenog križa u izbjegličkoj krizi.

U drugoj smjeni su volonteri, educirani članovi ŽIT-a Zvonimir Šašek i Robert Vulić iz Koprivnice, Miljenko Jagodić i Davor Japec iz Križevaca te zaposlenik Gradskog društva Crvenog križa Koprivnica Kristijan Kolarek. Prvi puta, petero volontera boravili su u Slavonskom Brodu od 2. do 8. siječnja 2016. godine, a druga smjena u Slavonskom Brodu je upravo sada i to od 22. do 29. siječnja 2016. godine. Naši volonteri u Tranzitnom centru u Slavonskom Brodu rade u Službi traženja te u mobilnim timovima na prihvatu i otpremi izbjeglica, pomažu pri podjeli odjeće, obuće i prehrambenih proizvoda te vode. Kako su u noćnim smjenama, rad im otežavaju izuzetno niske temperature proteklih dana, no naše volontere to nije spriječilo, da četvorica iz prve smjene, odrade i drugu jednotjednu smjenu u Slavonskom Brodu. Nakon što su radili na zbrinjavanju izbjeglica 29 dana tijekom rujna i listopada prošle godine na području Botova, prema odluci HCK, interventni tim naše županije od siječnja je uključen u raspored za ispomoć u Slavonskom Brodu, a od 22. veljače kreće i treća smjena. Hvala našim volonterima koji su spremni pomoći u svakom trenutku bez obzira na okolnosti.Second shift of County Emergency Response Team of Red Cross Society of Koprivnica-Križevci County is stationed in Transit Centre in Slavonski Brod, where they are supporting activities of the Croatian Red Cross concerning the refugee crisis.

The second shift consists of volunteers, trained members of ŽIT Zvonimir Šašek and Robert Vulić from Koprivnica, Miljenko Jagodić and Davor Japec from Križevci and employee of the Red Cross in Koprivnica Kristijan Kolarek.

During the first shift five volunteers were located in Slavonski Brod from 2^nd to 8^th January 2016 and the second shift is there right now from 22^nd to 29^th January 2016. Our volunteers in the Transit Centre in Slavonski Brod are working in the Tracing Service and in the mobile teams. They aid in the distribution of clothing, footwear, food and water.

Extremely low temperatures during recent days have caused some difficulties as they work in night shifts. However, that did not stop them as the four volunteers from the first shift are also participating in second one-week shift in Slavonski Brod.

Volunteers have assisted with provisions for refugees for 29 days last year in September and October in the Botovo area. County Emergency Response Team was scheduled to assist in Slavonski Brod in January by decision of Croatian Red Cross. The third shift starts on 22^nd February. Thanks to our volunteers who are willing to help at any time, regardless of the circumstances.
